Welcome to the Slow Cookers at Play!

We are a group of friends from the Houston area that enjoy cooking and eating so much, we decided to form a competition BBQ team!

Come join us on the Salt Grass Trail as we celebrate our 15th year at the 2026 Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo’s World Championship BBQ contest.

Each year, over 600 party-goers attend our private event to enjoy delicious food and cold beverages, while DJ Diggy Dutch provides music to dance away the night. Come be a part of the fun, February 27th and February 28th, 2026.
